the youth rebelled against authority & conformity. The time for racial equality & female liberation had finally come.  

Demonstrations happened thru peace, and music.

Guitar players were leading the revolution. Radio was King and the prophets were Jimmy Hendricks & Aretha Franklin.

Long before there was Hip-Hop & Techno,  there was the sound of young America paving the streets with golden records heard on transistor radios and jukeboxes around the world.

Aretha Franklin the “Queen of Soul”, and the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.  

The definitive female soul singer of the Sixties,  she”s also one of the most influential and important voices in pop history.

Franklin's greatest  triumph – was “Respect” .  It was the opening track on 

“I Never Loved a Man The Way I Loved You,  the greatest soul album of all time.  

Other tracks from this release are “Do Right Woman Do Right Man”,  Dr. Feel Good” and a “Change Is Gonna Come”.
